As an Honors Community Ambassador for the University of Washington, I had the wonderful opportunity to lead an intercollegiate scavenger hunt for honors students across Washington. The event was held at the beginning of January. Participating universities included the University of Washington, Washington State University, Eastern Washington University, Seattle Pacific University, Gonzaga, Northwest University, and Western Washington University.

This was not only a rewarding experience in terms of leadership training, it was also a way for me to connect with fellow honors students state-wide – an opportunity that is generally lacking due to large divides and boundaries between universities. I am glad that I was able to foster friendship and camaraderie between honors students and create an engaging event.
