Santiago, Chile
In 2023 I was a US Fulbright Student and visiting researcher at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC). I conducted a survey of active galactic nuclei in collaboration with the Institute of Astrophysics at PUC, the Chilean Active Galactic Nuclei/Galaxy Extragalactic Survey, the Multi-Object Spectrograph Telescope, and the Vera C. Rubin Observatory. My work used the existing southern hemisphere static photometric catalogs to narrow the sample selection for the 4MOST survey.
Additionally, in collaboration with Radboud University, I ran the wide-field array of BlackGEM telescopes at the European Southern Observatory La Silla with the goal to search for and characterize the optical counterparts of gravitational wave detections.
