Volunteering

In collaboration with Professor Miguel Morales, I run the UW Physics Program for Advanced Training in Hands-on Science. This program offers a unique opportunity for motivated community college students to participate in cutting-edge research projects and gain hands-on experience in physics laboratories at UW.

I am the head coach of the Bellevue Junior Cheer Team! This team is a community-based, volunteer-run organization. Our goal is to make cheerleading accessible to all students across the Bellevue School District. Our varsity cheer squad consists of 20+ kids ranging from 1st through 8th grade cheering at fall football games.

I am an Assistant Coach for the Issaquah High School Cheer Team. I actively engage with students to foster a positive, supportive, and team-oriented environment. I work with the cheerleaders on stunts and routine choreography in preparation for the Washington State Cheer Competition.

I volunteered as a photographer for the Newport High School football and cheer teams and for the marching band. You can find some of my photos on the Budlong Photography website.

As an Honors Community Ambassador, I designed an intercollegiate scavenger hunt for honors students across Washington. Participating universities included the UW, Washington State University, Eastern Washington University, Seattle Pacific University, Gonzaga, Northwest University, and Western Washington University.
